New Zealand 12/11/2006 9:53:21 PM Link New Zealand is an outdoor country that offers many opportunites to see the untamed beauty of the sub-Tropical rainforest, sea and bird life that is indigenous to this South Pacific islands nation. There is a mulititude of places to visit that offer the best viewing sights of the wildlife of the sea and land.
At Kaikoura there is a high percentage to see the amazing sperm whales, and on the migration time for the Southern Right Whale and other species can be viewed. From the end of November until mid September you can see the Royal Albatross and if you are there on a windy day to see this bird in flight with a wing span of 9 foot 6 inches. Although you might on a guided tour watching the birds; to see them come directly towards you is rather intimating. Also located in Tairoa Head is the elusive yellow eyed penguin, but there are special viewing huts from which to see these penguins. A kayak tour is also a way to view sealife and in the Abel Tasman National Park there are overnight and extended kayak tours to this enchanting and very sunny destination of New Zealand.
With the outdoors it is knowing where the accommodations are that in return offer you the traveler the best place to absorb this outdoor wonderland. On the West Coast of the South Island is such a place, but off the road and totally surrounded are lodges and hotels that you can step sideways and then you are in a place all on your own, but a place where a simply relaxing walk along a forest path or beach and all of a sudden you hear the native birds of New Zealand. The Bellbird, Tui and Woodpigeon are the songsters of the country, and first thing in the morning is the best time to hear them. The first explorer to discover New Zealand, Captain James Cook noted in his journel several time that is was such a pleasure to listen to the birds of the morning.
This is just a couple of the many options for wildlife viewing in New Zealand and being a person who lived in New Zealand for 25 years (a native New Zealander or Kiwi) I can help in maximising your vacation to see the best of New Zealand. New Zealand Travel 12/19/2006 8:51:21 PM Link
New Zealand in a country that surprises many travelers that visit of what seems a neverending scenic countryside that is full of activities to suite everyone while enjoying the same level of scenery. But the trick is to try and incorporate all that you have heard about New Zealand into the sights that other travelers are saying to you that you meet along the way.
A good option is to talk to a person who have lived in New Zealand for over 25 years, and that would be myself. I have personally seen and traveled throughout my native country where I can help you discover the hidden secrets of this compact country. A self drive, bed & breakfast is the most ideal driving vacation that most people love to have, but did you also know about the lodges of New Zealand or even some hotels that offer special locations to take you into you own private spot.
For tours how about a helicopter ride over the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers, but how about a landing on these ice age mouments that help shape Fjordland, and Milford Sound. Did you know that Milford is the only land accessible fjord, but did you know there is another Fjord called Doubtful Sound that is much larger than Milford that you can either take a full day cruise on or how about a trip into total seclusion with an overnight cruise. It is the rise of the sun that the New Zealand birds that awake you to a new day are the bellbird, tui, and woodpigeon are the delightful songsters. This is one trip that is the highlight of many people that I have helped planned their vacation.
Something else unique to New Zealand are underground caves that you can see glowworms. These tiny worms glow in the darkness of the caves to attract insects that fly into them, but it also attracts people to view this amazing spectical. I am always stunned at such a wonderful sight no matter how many times that I have seen them. Underground tubing, abseiling, and caving are tours that takes you into another world of New Zealand. The tours can suite how adventurous that you are.
Around every corner there is another activity, horseback riding for extended times, jet boating to where The Lord of the Rings was filmed, then participate into more film locations, a kayak a fjord, national park or the inland waters of New Zealand.

New Zealand Bed and Breakfast 12/22/2006 4:57:49 PM Link
New Zealand's Bed and Breakfast accommodation goes hand in hand with New Zealand's scenery, the hospitality of its people and the wonderful finishing touches it adds to people's vacations. Here is where you can find out about the New Zealands or Kiwi as the people of New Zealand are also called, their lives, their prospective and places to see on your way to your next destination that only a local would know of. If you take a turn here and you will see...... is what the people of New Zealand like to show off their country to visitors who take their valueable vacation time to visit this South Pacific island destination.
Where else can you have a scrumptous breakfast while chatting about what you are wanting or can do for your free day, and in amongst what seems like people that you have known for a long time, where is actual fact you meet them yesterday afternoon when you arrived and they helped you with your luggage! What a way to visit this scenic and people friendly nation.
But if you try to do too much, then you miss out on just how wonderful this South Pacific island nation is and New Zealand Bed and Breakfas is where it starts. I had a client who spent 14 days in New Zealand and only visited a quarter of the country. Wow you might say to yourself, but after these people speaking to me for time, what they conveyed to me was that they want to really experience New Zealand, see the scenic wilderness that everyone was speaking of, and to enjoy its people. With the talks that I have with clients is a wonderful way for me to find out about my clients, their likes, what kind of vacation they want, and their picture of what my clients want to achieve. Oh, by the way, the clients came back, and I asked, how was your vacation. In reply was "Murray, perfect".
Also I forgot to mention, they wanted to see Milford Sound, and I also mentioned Doubtful Sound and the clients discovered Doubtful, not a day trip but overnight. The clients came back with the overnight cruise finished their vacation off in the best possible way.
New Zealand Bed and Breakfast's are located the length and width of New Zealand. Some out on a Peninsula, just moments away from an Albatross colony, some on their own private beach, some amongst the native forests that exists since New Zealand was first discovered, or how about on a farm where you can discover the workings of New Zealand farm life.
New Zealand bed and breakfast are for people wanting to explore New Zealand one step further and to see for themselves what everyone else has been talking about. Allow a native of New Zealand or Kiwi help you into an insight of this wonderful experience of New Zealand Bed and Breakfast. New Zealand Luxury Vacations 12/28/2006 10:51:52 PM Link
New Zealand has everything to offer the traveler wanting to see and do different experiences. There is a tour to suite every individual and it does not matter your fitness level. There are hikes or extended hikes that the distance matches everyone, day or extended cruises or kayak tours that visit the same area but have a comfort level for all, and more importantly both show the exactly same scenery that you want to visit.
But with this tour comes the luxury accommodations, tours, and travel to suite everyone. With my planning you can stay in a luxury lodge in the midst of native forest that shows off the region as well as wildlife or a tour to see the surrounds. Take for example the wilderness lodges that are on the West Coast. These lodges are ideally situated to showcase everything that is in the region from the highest mountain ranges down to the lakes or the beaches where native animals come ashore. But a guided tour is the best as the guide will take you to the animals in such a way not to disturb them but giving you prime viewing.
How about a guided tour to see the majestic Milford Sound where you can learn about this long ago and now extinct glacier that carved out the majestic Milford Sound. Upon the entrance before Milford Sound where two glaciers met to also carve out the Holyford Valley. This quiet peaceful valley now sits in peace from the glacier that once ruled this secluded valley and peaceful reclusive spot. To see this is to showcase you just how the once powerful ice glaciers forced there way down to the ocean.
With New Zealand having its remote valleys, glaciers and mountains also allows you to discover these hidden valleys by way of flight. Albee Travel has tours from the romantic to the explorer in us all. You can enjoy a helicopter ride into the hidden valleys only to be left there with a contact phone and a scrumptious picnic. Here with the peacefulness of the valley and an exquisite picnic lunch are you left to discover the true New Zealand in opulent luxury. Enjoy a flight to Milford Sound via the not so well known glacier that still rule the hidden mountains and Valleys of Fjordland National Park. You can also experience a flight tour to the just as majestic Dusky or Doubtful Sound. Here you can awe with these majestic Fjords, the native forest and New Zealand song birds, such as the Tui, Bellbird, and Wood Pigeon. Perhaps be bedazzled by the friendly dancing fantail as it delights you with its flight through the native forest. Here again you can have a picnic then perhaps enjoy a change to actually pilot a helicopter with the trained pilot beside you. What an enthralling experience.
Within New Zealand there are also wine tours offering the best of the regions and accommodation to match in a distinguished manner of what you can come to expect from a New Zealand Luxury Vacation. Lodges in the midst of extraordinary scenery with mountains or native forest in the surrounds, with touring options such as fishing, horseback ride to view a 360 degree view, accommodations at tree canopy level to show you the best view, a golf course rated one of the best, and a hospitality that is willing to show you the what New Zealand luxury vacation is all about.
Please allow me to help you plan your next vacation so I can show you the hidden secrets that are waiting on you to discover. To call just dial 888.500.2528 or email (click here) and for further information please visit www.albeeco.com/nzlcr.htm
New Zealand Travel Guide
A vacation to New Zealand is visiting a destination that you have always dreamed of. To see the mountain scenery, the wildlife and have an adventure that is unique to New Zealand – the best way is to plan your travels with me, your New Zealand travel guide. I can assist you in planning the best places to stay or the time factors while traveling through the country.
I have lived in New Zealand for over 25 years, traveled around the South Island twice, seen parts of the North Island, and driven the roads of New Zealand. I have participated many of the touring options. As you will find out, this country has a varied landscape, as are the touring options -- from the easy adventure of jet boat ride or gently kayaking around a lake, to extreme adventure touring of black water caving, skydiving, and bungee jumping. The magical part about New Zealand is the spectrum of activities available, if you are into the extreme adventure or would like to try a mild option, then there is an activity that might be found for you.
Look no further, as I am your New Zealand travel guide. My hobby also is photography and on my website www.albeeco.com you will find my pictures. I can tell you actual driving times; as I give you time to stop for a picture, take a spontaneous moment to sit back and absorb the view, or a time for a chat with a local New Zealander or Kiwi. New Zealanders like to be known as ‘Kiwis” after the nocturnal bird that lives in New Zealand.
I have been the New Zealand travel guide for a multitude of clients, either doing self driving or independent coach tours throughout New Zealand. The later option is an excellent benefit for people who do not want the hassle of driving, want to meet some locals while traveling, and do not want an escorted tour, but like some of the features of an escorted tour. If you like to tour this way, but want to visit an accommodation that offers a setting of the New Zealand native bush, that has tours of the forest, wildlife and just a place to relax, then I can plan you a bit of independent coach and car touring for you.
In addition, I am extremely knowledgeable about Australia and the South Pacific and I can help add those touring options as well. Here at Albee Travel, I can show you these individual touring options, accommodation locations in the midst of a secluded New Zealand spot or a mixture of both so you can enjoy every aspect of your New Zealand vacation.
Not only is my website a treasure trove of information, but I make myself available to you as your personal New Zealand travel guide. You can contact me at 888.500.2528 or email (click here) or visit my website (click here)
New Zealand Scenic Flight 1/21/2007 9:27:17 PM Link
New Zealand is a country of natural beauty, stark contrast, and adventure activities. From isolated mountain ranges, river valleys, and active volcano; a New Zealand helicopter Scenic flight takes you into these remote areas for anything from adrenaline adventure activities such as kayaking, to fishing in a mountain stream, to romantic interludes such as a champagne luncheon on a mountain peak.
A New Zealand Helicopter flight out to see the active White Island volcano, or over the Franz Josef Glacier and or the Fox Glacier shows you the true heart of these age old glaciers. It is with a Helicopter that you can see close up the beauty that otherwise you would not see.
A New Zealand Scenic flight in the Queenstown, Milford Sound, Fjordland National Park area is where you can see some truly spectacular scenery. In the midst of mountains, valleys of rivers or streams, with the combination of native forests; a New Zealand Scenic flight in the out-of-the way fjords of Doubtful or Dusky Sound are an experience that is a memory of a lifetime.
My website (click here) has some New Zealand Helicopter tours, but please do not hesitate to contact me at 888.500.2528. My email is (click here).
This photo was taken when I took the New Zealand Helicopter flight over the Franz Josef Glacier which still amazes me. Seeing the Glacier from above was a great vantage point.
